Peter Cowley is Founder & CEO of Spirit he setup in October 2010. Spirit is a multi-platform content producer and audience development company that operates in the UK & Europe. Spirit is part of the Content Media Corporation group of companies that includes Aito Media, from Finland. Previous To Spirit, Peter was MD of Digital Media for Endemol UK and global head of original digital programming at Endemol International. Peter has spent his working career in content (Spirit & Endemol), internet portals & access (Freeserve/Orange), marketing (Videotron/ Cable & Wireless) and advertising (BBH).
Alon Dolev - CEO, Partner and Founder, TV Format Fund
Dolev, partner and co-founder of TV Format Fund, brings in a 20-year experience in the content and media industry. He was the founder of a firm that specialized in financing content productions, and has been involved in hundreds of TV productions. Dolev was one of the first to identify the business potential embodied in funding TV production by commercial collaborations. He designed an innovative business method that, up to this day, forms the working foundation in the field in Israel. Among his previous jobs, Dolev was part of the founding team of the successful Israeli radio station “Galgalatz” and acted as a project manager in channel 2.
Peter Hansen - CCO, Nordisk Film TV
Peter Hansen began his career as a stand-up comedian and hosting for 10 years many entertainment shows, before working as a executive. From 2002-2006 Peter headed Zodiak subsidiary Mastiff Media in Denmark, as Mananging Director. For the last 9 years Peter has worked at Nordisk Film TV as CCO with responsibility for all content in the Nordic countries. Peter is a part of the executive and creative board of Nordisk Film Tv owner Banijay Group.
Johanna Koljonen - Analyst, Broadcaster, Rundfunk Media Ab
Johanna Koljonen (s. 1978) on kriitikko, juontaja, media-analyytikko ja kirjailija. Hän on työskennellyt koko ammattiuransa Ruotsissa, jossa hänen tuotantoyhtiönsä Rundfunk Media tekee radio-, tv- ja transmediasisältöä pääosin maan kolmelle public service-yhtiöille. Nordic Film Marketin Nostradamus-projektille Koljonen tuottaa seminaareja ja jokavuotisen raportin elokuva- ja tv-alojen lähitulevaisuudesta. Häntä kiinnostaa erityisesti kokemusten suunnittelu osallistuvalle yleisölle, aihe josta hän luennoi myös kansainvälisesti mm. peli- ja mediatekijöille sekä museoalalla. Vuonna 2011 Koljonen palkittiin Stora Journalistpriset-palkinnolla Vuoden uudistaja-kategoriassa.
Dror Levy - Manager of Non-scripted Content, TV Format Fund
Levy is a creative and development expert with a 20-year seniority in the industry. He acted as the creative manager of “Big Brother” in the first three seasons in Israel. He was also involved in the development of many successful formats in Israel, among them Golestar, The Unit, A Bollywood Dream, Living in La-La Land, Help I Can’t Cook and others. In his present position, Levy examines proposals for formats submitted by creators and production firms in Israel and abroad.
Marko Turpeinen - Professor and Director, EIT ICT Labs Silicon Valley Hub
Professor Marko Turpeinen, born 1968, has a Doctor of Technology Degree in Computer Science from Helsinki University of Technology and a Master of Science Degree in Media Arts and Sciences from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During 2010-2015 he has acted as the Helsinki Node Director of European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) ICT Labs. Currently he is leading the EIT Silicon Valley Hub based in San Francisco. He is a Principal Scientist and the leader of the Digital Content Communities research group at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology (HIIT), a joint research institute of Aalto University and University of Helsinki. He has also been a Professor in Media Technology at The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm in 2006-2013. He also has extensive industrial experience from the media industry, as in 1996-2005 he worked in various executive positions at Alma Media.
Esther Wynhorst - International Business Development and Investors Relations, TV Format Fund
Wynhorst, born in the Netherlands, has a rich experience in building an international business infrastructure and in working with business entities. Among her past positions, she worked in the department of foreign relations at “Shenkar College of Engineering, Design & Art” engaging in investors relations, fundraising and the Board of Governors. In Shenkar, Wynhorst has also set up the International Office in which she managed and leveraged the international activities of the college. She worked with institutions in the EU and the USA in programs such as Erasmus and Tempus, as well as building and developing internship and student exchange programs.
Timo Argillander - perustaja ja osakas, IPR.VC Management Oy ja Digital Media Finland
Timo Argillander toimii sijoittajana ja toimitusjohtajana IPR.VC Managementissa sekä konsulttina Digital Media Finlandissa ja on molempien yhtiöiden perustajaosakas. Timo on yli kymmenvuotisen konsulttiuransa aikana avustanut lukuisia media-alan pieniä ja suuria yhtiöitä strategiatyössä. Aiemmin hän on toiminut Applella, Editassa ja perustamassaan Suomen ensimmäisessä e-learningyhtiössä Brainwaressa.
